The Next Facilities Department incorporates dedicated teams that manage and support the maintenance, repairs and utilities of all properties that we occupy and own, namely, all of the stores, Head Office, Nursery, Gedding Road, Upper New Walk, Tottenham Court Road Offices and the Photo Studios in London.
The Retail Facilities Team supports the management of the routine maintenance of all plant and equipment and the reactive repair works for the stores. The reactive repairs are logged by our trained operatives who man our in-house Helpdesk Monday to Friday 0800 to 1800.

The Maintenance and Recycling Team supports the maintenance and repairs around six Head Office properties. Their key responsibilities include the management of the routine maintenance of all plant and equipment (including Heating and Air Conditioning) along with responding to all reactive repairs. The Recycling Team manage all the waste across the sites and recycle what’s possible.

Office Services responsibilities cover the postal services, stationary deliveries, Direct to Desk deliveries, portering services, dry cleaning and domestic services around the Head Office and Gedding Road sites.

The Head Office restaurant located in Phase 1 caters for 2800 – 3500 covers daily, offering a breakfast and lunch menu, as well as a salad bar. Food products is sourced from local suppliers and butchers. The restaurant has a 5 star food rating. The coffee shops serve an additional 2000 customers per day.
Alongside the restaurant menus the in-house catering team also prepare 500 sandwiches a day which are sold at the restaurant, coffee shops and vending machines. Menus run a monthly cycle covering the Spring/Summer season, and the Autumn/Winter season.

The Domestic Team ensures that our working environment is kept clean and tidy, working day and evening shifts to clean the toilet facilities, offices, restaurant, coffee shop and nursery. They are on call to respond to any issues that occur during the day or night.

The Electricians responsibility covers the maintenance and repair of the electrical supplies and lighting at our Head Office Sites.

The Projects Team managers and co-ordinates Head Office and Retail projects from simple flooring works all the way up to new builds. They support the Retail Facilities team with various works across the portfolio
The Travel2Next Department oversee Head Office car park management as well as promoting sustainable travel to the portfolio of the business.
